About Us

We are Tasmanian owned & operated!

Australian Hygiene Supplies was founded in Hobart Tasmania, in response to the global COVID-19 viral pandemic in March 2020. The very purpose of what we do is linked closely to our beliefs of taking care of those in your own backyard. With resources stretched and supplies drying up for both front line workers and the community, we stepped up to take action and source accessible solutions to protect public health.

Founder, Emily Anderson, is known firstly as Tasmania’s go-to for bridal gowns, formal dresses and photo booth hire. Her boutique, Confetti, based in Hobart’s northern suburb of Moonah, has developed a reputation for celebrating women of all shapes and sizes. In March 2020, many of Emily’s bridal customers were facing the dread of wedding postponements. Whilst Emily rides this wave of change with her loyal customers, she remains optimistic the wedding industry will bounce back stronger than ever.

Emily hasn’t always been a bridal boutique owner though. Prior to founding Confetti, Emily’s career background included working with Tasmania’s marginalised communities through the social services sector. Emily’s capacity to care for others and think laterally for community-focussed solutions is the very reason Australian Hygiene Supplies exists. During this new era of isolation, with restricted resources for health workers and increased needs of the vulnerable in the community, the Premier of New South Wales encouraged Australian business owners to adapt their skills and offer those in need a hand up to combat the impacts of COVID-19 in the Australian community.

Australian Hygiene Supplies products are quality assured and can be delivered Australia-wide, fast! From hand sanitiser and face masks for the public, to more specialised products for health workers and food safety, our Tasmanian owned and operated business mission is simple:

Prioritising Australian health at home and work.
